Diagnosis: Severely compromised dentition in both arches, indicated for fixed full-arch implant rehabilitation.
Treatment: All-on-4 full-arch implant rehabilitation of both the upper and lower arches — four implants per arch supporting a fixed zirconia prosthesis, with a temporary prosthesis worn during healing.
Material: Zirconia full-arch prosthesis on four implants per arch
Period: Approx. 5 months
Visits: Multiple visits over ~5 months (surgery, healing, final prosthesis)
Cost: Self-pay total ¥7,000,000 (incl. tax) for both arches — All-on-4 ¥3,500,000 per arch × 2 (upper + lower).

Risks & side effects

All-on-4 is a complex surgical procedure involving extraction of remaining teeth and placement of four implants per arch.
Post-operative swelling, bruising, and temporary dietary restrictions are expected.
Osseointegration (bone-implant fusion) requires approximately 3–5 months before the final prosthesis is placed.
A temporary prosthesis is worn during the healing period.
Bone grafting may be required in some cases.
Prosthetic components have a finite lifespan and may require maintenance or replacement.
This is an elective, privately billed (self-pay) treatment, not covered by Japanese national health insurance.
