Diagnosis: Congenitally small upper lateral incisors (peg laterals).
Treatment: Two feldspathic porcelain veneers on the upper lateral incisors (#12, #22), no-prep (no enamel reduction). Treatment also included professional cleaning, whitening before veneer fabrication, and a night guard afterwards.

Risks & side effects

No enamel is removed (no-prep), though minor surface conditioning may be needed for bonding
Feldspathic porcelain is highly aesthetic but more fragile than pressed ceramics; chipping or cracking is possible under excessive force
Risk of detachment over time; rebonding may be required
Temporary sensitivity after bonding is possible
Colour is matched before bonding and cannot be adjusted afterwards; whitening must be completed before veneer fabrication
Regular night guard use is strongly recommended
Rarely, a remake may be necessary if fit or aesthetics are unsatisfactory
